We are interested in individuals that have a knack for detecting errors, inconsistencies, imperfections and just want to help our developers deliver the best possible software.

Qualifications

Attention to detail and strong interest in testing
An understanding of web-delivered applications
An understanding of mobile-delivered applications
Ability to identify risks and potential areas of concern with an appropriate sense of urgency
Familiarity with multiple web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.)
Software development experience is a plus
Familiarity with GitFlow is a plus
Familiarity with REST APIs is a plus
Available to work via student contract

Responsibilities

Executing black box tests on all web-based and mobile based products developed/developing by our dev team
Breakdown feature components outlined in design specifications into a structured test plan with consideration for; functionality, the user experience and metrics
Collaborate with design and engineering to identify areas of concern
Testing and confirming features on new and existing projects
Attend feature design meetings and create internal documentation
Identifying issues and generating issue reports
Assisting developers with issue analysis
